I grew up in a small town outside of San Diego. We did not have a movie theater, or a mall. It was before the time of "coffee shops". When summer breaks rolled around my sisters and I would spend our entire 3 months away from school creating elaborate fantasy worlds of make believe. There wasn't much else to do. I did not realize at the time, but this "free time" to live with my imagination helped mold who I became as an adult. Ask me a year, and I can tell you what or who I wanted to be that summer and what I planned to become - it was ever changing: a teacher, a vet, a photographer, a model, a stylist, a writer ...

After working many years in the fast paced world of fashion, I learned that life takes us down many roads of opportunity. With an open mind, we can be anyone we want too.
