Boudoir photography is one of my favorite forms of photography. It takes a very different perspective because it is such a intimate personal session and it is so important to make my client feel sexy and beautiful. Every time I photograph a boudoir session I look for inspiration for my shoot in advance so that I can “chanel” the look and feel of something that inspires me.
I recently stumbled across a old Vogue I purchased in Paris several years ago. It featured an entire segment on a french actress in her hotel room and was soft and dreamy and sexy in a way that was so classically french. I love fashion, and I love european fashion and I really love boudoir. So what a perfect combination for this shoot!
One of the things so many people are concerned about when thinking of doing a boudoir session is “am I thin enough” or “I don’t have a perfect body” … the list could go on and on of the things we allow ourselves to be intimidated by that are totally irrelevant to a boudoir session. That is because boudoir is meant to capture YOU, at your sexiest. My client who shall remain nameless for privacy, was self admittedly “out of her comfort zone” yet looks so amazing at her session.
You are one sexy women, and I think you would have done vogue proud!
xoxo
