The first time I met Becca & Joe I liked them instantly. They were down to earth, happy easy going and they told me about the plans to have there wedding at a camp in Julian Ca. It was going to be apple themed and they planned on making it a full weekend of festivities with all there friends. Julian, apple pie, weekend of fun? I’m there.
What I didn’t expect was that I would gain two incredible friends. I don’t know what happened more in the course of this day – happy tears or happy laughter. Joe and Becca have the kind of relationships with there families that are hard to put into words … it is that amazing.
Joe’s sister was his “best man” and Becca’s brother was her “maid of honor”. And this kind of love and friendship goes far beyond relatives .. the amount of friends these two have is incredible.
I could go on and on but what I want to do is share what happened during the speeches. After the tears of Joe’s sisters speech and the laughs of Becca’s mom her dad stood up and started to cry ( yeah I am crying too at this point) and he recounted a trip they had taken with Joe where all of them were lost in a foreign country and Joe managed to get them home. Her dad said ” I knew then that there was no other man I would trust on this earth to take care of my daughter than Joe”. I cant think of a better way for a father to hand over her daughter <3
Becca & Joe – thank you so much for sharing your beautiful wedding day with me, I am so thankful for your friendship!
xoxo
Allie
