A totally rad couple and a even more rad baby .. Torrey pines family portraits, san diego photographer

The first time I met this family was for Olivia’s newborn session. (see it here). These first time parents welcomed me into their home , and in the process did something somewhat unusual .. they let me be alone, totally trusting while I photographed Oliva.  I say unusual because usually first time parents need to know exactly what your doing at all times with their baby. It was that one simple action that made me really love them, because they were so mellow and relaxed – so was I.

And because you never know who you will end up being friends with in life, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this family was one of them.

So when Joey & Jeni asked me to photograph their family photo’s last month, I was thrilled to be able to see them again so soon. And this time my sister and youngest nephew were visiting, so I dragged them along for Joey & Jeni to meet my little 3 year old love bug that they have heard so much about. Awesome friends, meet my awesome family :)

Joey & Jeni , and of course darling little Olivia .. thank you for sharing your family with me! It is always wonderful to see you!

Sister kisses and baby snuggles .. Meet Elsa Grace! Escondido newborn photography

From the moment I walked into this family’s home, I immediately was welcomed by not one .. but two adorable little girls.  It is rare that when photographing a newborn session a older sibling who is also a toddler wants anything to do with it. This was a entirely different story however.  Elsa Grace is going to be one lucky little girl. Not only does she have two parents that adore her, but she also has a older sister who obviously adores her too.

My favorite part of this shoot was seeing how much happiness this family shares.  It isnt easy to have a new baby and a toddler, but they delt with it so calmly and with so much patience that it ended up being one amazing family shoot.

As pretty as a cherry blossom .. meet Baby Sloane! Escondido newborn photography

The last time I saw Brianne and Marc, they only had one baby .. a furbaby, and baby Sloane was still cooking ( <—————see the underwater maternity session there) .  It was wonderful to finally meet Sloane in person, and see her perfectly healthy, beautiful and the newest addition to this family.

Brianne is defiantly the kind of women who was destined to have a little girl, and if her adorable wardrobe of pink hats, ribonns and tutu’s are any indication of how much of a girly girl she is, I can only imagine how sassy this little girl will be when she is 5 :) Look out Dad Marc … ;)

Brianne & Marc congratulations to you both, she is precious in so many ways! Thank you for letting me capture this amazing time for your family!
