A couple of months ago while I was out on a shoot, a client asked me ” who is the most important client you have ever photographed”. I knew the answer immediately, but I realized that maybe all of my clients did not.
So … who is the most important client I have ever photographed?…………. It is you.
Every client who has taken the time to choose me to capture a moment for them or to document a life-changing event .. you are my most important clients. Each one of you plays a part in letting me be a photographer, and no matter how big or how small the session .. I am grateful. It is with this gratitude that I realize that every one of my clients has brought me the joy of being a small business owner who gets the incredible opportunity to have a job that is also a art I am passionate about.
I have pondered this question many times in the last few months, and in some ways it has become a daily reminder to me that the way I run my business is in many ways a direct reflection of the clients I want to photograph. I want to photograph people who know and understand how much I value who you are. I want you to know that every time I pick up my camera I give you my best .. that your session is the most important session I have the honor of capturing at that moment. I want you to know that I cherish the fact you choose me to capture your memories, and every time you ask me to capture a moment in the growth of your family I feel honored.
I have been very fortunate to get so many wonderful relationships from the people I have met in this profession and I count all of you as friends. So thank you to all my past, and future clients for being the most important person I have ever photographed !
P.S And because posting my favorite images from 2011 would take a entire year , here are just a few of the memories I am so thankful to have been a part of 🙂
p.s.s Boudoir images not here .. those deserve a entirely separate post! 😉
