Carrie & Adam, and the “Pink Panther” hot rod – Camarillo engagement photography

You know when you meet someone for the first time, and instantly you think of how you would describe them to someone else? Well when I first met Carrie, the word that popped into my head was “adorable”. This girl has a killer smile, and infectious laugh. She also has the kind of hair that you see in a magazine, rip out the picture and take it to your stylist “I want to look like this” order.

When the time came to photograph Adam & Carrie’s engagement session they started using words photographer’s like to faint over … private bridges, restored hot rod, adorable dogs and …. and the most amazing … “we have access to a FREEWAY sign to light up “save the date” ” … INSTANT. PHOTOGRAPHER. LOVE.

Adam & Carrie Thank you for being ridiculously awesome, for letting me play with your adorable fur babies and for making my photographer heart so happy Very excited for your wedding day!

From the desert of Tuscon to the beaches of San Diego, The Stafford Family – Torrey Pines family photography

I love this family! These are some of my favorite clients who live in Arizona. The last time I photographed them was 200 degree’s ( slight exaggeration, kinda) and it was raining. This of course happened on one of my trips out to Tuscon, that desert can do some nutty weather things. So when they decided to head to my town for the big family vacation this year they asked me to photograph them at a totally different place from home – the beach. And guess what ? They brought the sun with them! I had SO much fun seeing the kids and how they had grown in the last few months, and getting to chase them in the waves.

Let’s be totally honest here .. getting to play with adorable kids, on a perfect day at the beach and hang out with adults that are awesome too? Is that really work? No, I dont think so either
