Rachel & Jimmy, they had me at Eames chair. Seriously though, they did. For those that have no clue what the heck that is, for us mid century design loving folks that is interior design heaven in the form of a chair. And it is totally my thing. So you can imagine my excitement with this rad couple contacted me with their vision for a mid-century modern palm springs wedding.
Every.single.detail was AMAZING. Not to mention TOTALLY my thing! The moment I walked into the incredible Fredrick Lowe Estate, a beautiful mid century estate they rented for the wedding – I was on google looking up how much this property cost because I WANT TO GO TO THERE. (Liz Lemon – 30 rock). Or the translation “I WANT THIS HOUSE”.
Rachel & Jimmy are a mellow, happy, laid back couple who had the kind of wedding that fit them perfectly – a rad affair with rad friends. I am so privileged to call these two people my friends, and considering how much each guest adored them they have quite a following of people who feel the same.
I HAVE to mention, this amazing wedding was just featured over at style me pretty, be sure to check it out! http://www.stylemepretty.com/california-weddings/2013/07/24/diy-palm-springs-wedding-from-allie-lindsey-photography/
Rachel & Jimmy, you had me at Antler’s.
The moment I met Kristyn I instantly liked her. She is sweet, in a kind calm way that puts you instantly at ease. She loves Dogs, and Shaina Twain and she LOVES Drew. SO when I met Drew for the first time at their engagement session, I suddenly saw a different side to Kristyn – she is positively RADIANT when she is with him. It was like watching a book come to life, I did not have to do anything but let these two simply be and photograph the awesome that happens when they are together.
I think this engagement session is pure beauty. It captures what I want to always too for my clients, Love.
Kristyn & Drew – I am SO excited to photograph the next part of your love story on your wedding day!
This engagement session was extra special because not only did it involve a couple that was so in love but it also captured the love of a family coming together. Rachel & Lee meet over 20 years ago, and love brought them together again just when they least expected it. Rachael brought along her adorable son, Preston, and he spent the day entertaining me with his Power Ranger moves. If you spend even a moment with this family you can see that Lee loves Preston as if he was his own, it shows that marriage so often is not just about a husband and wife but those who are also united in the process. Can’t wait for your amazing wedding day Rachael and Lee and I can’t wait to play with “Antonio the Gold Ranger” again!
