When babies start to grow up … The Peterson family, Poway family photographer

The first time I met Jenessa she had just gotten married. Amazing how many things change in life in such a short time – since then her and hubby Derek welcomed baby Prestynn to there perfect family, and I was the lucky one who was able to photograph both the maternity and newborn session for this beautiful little girl. Prestynn is leaving the baby world however and heading full force ahead to her first year .. so when Jenessa asked me to photograph her 6 month old session I was thrilled. Every time I see this little love bug she gets even more adorable – I know for a fact her parent’s agree with me on this :) When life hands you such a beautiful blessing it is amazing how fast that time goes by, so I am sure if I think Prestynn is growing up fast I can only imagine what her mom & dad feel about this!

Peterson Family – as always, it was so much fun to see you and catch up! Thank you for letting me share a small part in your beautiful life :)

Watch me grow, Baby Sloane & her dog Chance ….. Escondido family photography

If you follow my blog, then you recognize this family. I first photographed baby Sloane when she was still cooking inside Brianne -It was one of my favorite maternity sessions.  Once this sweet little girl made her appearance I photographed her newborn session – and she was an angel the entire time. Well miss Sloane is now 6 months old, and along with her dog chance and mom and dad, I was able to capture how much she has grown in such a short time.

Since I am a sucker for red hair babies, dogs with long ears and couples in love – I would rate this shoot as “Epic” with a extra side of  ”totally rad”.  It totally knocks my socks off to see that Mark and Brianne are enjoying being parents so much too!

Thank you Mongeon Family, it is ALWAYS fun to spend a few hours with you!

From the desert of Tuscon to the beaches of San Diego, The Stafford Family – Torrey Pines family photography

I love this family! These are some of my favorite clients who live in Arizona. The last time I photographed them was 200 degree’s ( slight exaggeration, kinda) and it was raining. This of course happened on one of my trips out to Tuscon, that desert can do some nutty weather things.  So when they decided to head to my town for the big family vacation this year they asked me to photograph them at a totally different place from home – the beach.  And guess what ? They brought the sun with them! I had SO much fun seeing the kids and how they had grown in the last few months, and getting to chase them in the waves.

Let’s be totally honest here .. getting to play with adorable kids, on a perfect day at the beach and hang out with adults that are awesome too? Is that really work? No, I dont think so either :)

Stafford family – can’t wait to see you again soon!!
