"Let me just start off by saying that if I hadn't been "introduced" to Allie's work, I probably would not have had my most recent maternity photos done. It didn't even dawn on me to have photos taken to capture this special time, until I was in Anela Apothecary back in July after recently finding out I was expecting. The wonderful gal who did my wedding make-up, Christina, suggested that I get some "Moderne Boudoir" photos done, before I start showing. So I looked through an album they had at the store and I immediately fell in love with Allie's work. After some time went by, I figured I would hold off on the Moderne Boudoir photos until after the baby was here, and saw that Allie also did maternity photos, newborn photos as well as other fantastic sessions for anyone and everyone. I like most woman out there am not exactly a size 2 and I was worried the camera would make me look bigger. I went to her studio ready to go but when it came time to change and be half naked in front of the camera and someone I just met I got nervous again. "I have had two separate photo sessions with Allie Lindsey, the first being Boudoir and the second a Trash the Dress shoot (Soo much fun!). Allie is very good at creating cool scenes, surrounding you with amazing colors and managing to capture the emotion in each picture. "Allie photographed my wedding in January and let me tell you, she didn't have a lot to work with! We planned to keep it very casual so there was no photograph session beforehand and she had to work with whatever "scenery" there was at the courthouse and near our apartment building.
